Also, through out the week there will be some variations by day such as a Hike Lunch on Tuesday, “Home in the Woods” breakfast cookout on Wednesday, and of course our popular off-site day on Thursday. On Thursday mornings, campers visit Eden Home (a local retirement center) to sing to residents and help with a social activity like bingo or bowling. In the afternoon, after lunch and rest time at the camp, everyone goes to Landa Park to experience the spring-fed pool complete with zip line, monster slide and a floating dock. For supper the campers hike over to a nearby pavilion in the park for a hamburger cookout before being bused back to the camp for the evening program.
